Eris Symms brings more than 25 years of technology and cybersecurity expertise to the Catholic Charities board – and a personal connection to the mission that runs just as deep. As Chief Information Security Officer at US Steel Corporation, he channels that same discipline into his board role, providing oversight on cybersecurity, data privacy, and the responsible use of emerging technology.

But for Eris, this work is personal. Shaped by Catholic education and community programs that invested in him early, he came to the board ready to give back.
