Catholic Charities Emerging Leaders Council

Formed in the summer of 2015, the Emerging Leaders Council (ELC) is a group of community-minded, philanthropic professionals who serve as ambassadors for Catholic Charities.  Members of the ELC strive to bring our mission to serve the poor and the vulnerable to the communities where we live and work.  The goals of the Council are:

  • To engage other philanthropic-minded professionals by harnessing the energies of the next generation of business and community leaders
  • To raise awareness and advance the mission of Catholic Charities through philanthropy and community engagement
  • To increase involvement among young professionals for future sustainability
  • To reintroduce Catholic Charities to the community with mission-driven volunteer opportunities, social and fundraising events, and informative program-specific speaking engagements with other Catholic leaders in our region

Recent Activities:

This year, the ELC has been involved in two major activities: our "100,000 Diapers in 100 Days" drive, which brought in over 100,000 diapers in under 100 days for our Pregnancy and Parenting Support Services; and our upcoming St. Nick Soiree.
