Christopher Scoletti’s relationship with Catholic Charities began as a volunteer, where he saw firsthand the profound community need in his own city. The dedication of Catholic Charities’ staff—who provided compassionate care and practical solutions regardless of circumstance—left a lasting impression.

“I saw the staff lead with both love and real solutions,” Christopher recalls. Moved by this experience, he began giving annually, eager to support the organization’s mission. His involvement deepened when he became a board member, gaining an even greater understanding of Catholic Charities’ far-reaching impact.

“Hearing the resounding testimonies of clients showed me that Catholic Charities has a long-term, transformative effect on people’s lives,” he says.

For Christopher, the heart of his commitment is the sense of hope that Catholic Charities brings to those they serve. He is inspired by the long-term vision of turning temporary crises into opportunities for lasting healing and success. This approach, Christopher believes, creates a ripple effect, helping break the cycle of poverty.

“I see myself as someone who wants to shine a light on the services and staff of Catholic Charities,” he reflects. He encourages others to “make the leap of faith to walk through Catholic Charities’ open doors.”
