Lenten Examination
Fourth Week of Lent
—
This Lent, we invite you to join us in prayerful reflection. Each week, we will share emails filled with thoughtful intentions and guided prayers to help us prepare our hearts for Easter.
Core Principle: Relationships
—
Relationships are at the heart of who we are. God created us for connection—both with Him and with one another. But relationships can be messy. Hurt, misunderstanding, and distance can creep in.
Lent is a time to examine our hearts, to ask where we need to extend grace and where we need to receive it. Forgiveness is not always easy, but it is always freeing. When we choose kindness, when we extend compassion, we reflect God’s love in powerful ways.
Who in your life needs a kind word today? Who do you need to forgive? Let this season be one of healing and restoration, one that draws you closer to God and to those around you.
Reflect & Reset:
- Think about your interactions today.
- Did you show kindness?
- Is there someone you need to reach out to or forgive?
- Invite God into your relationships.
Scriptural Reflection
—
Be kind to one another, compassionate, forgiving one another as God has forgiven you in Christ.
Ephesians 4:32
Breath Prayer
—
As you inhale, pray:
God of love, teach me kindness.
As you exhale, pray:
Help me to forgive and be forgiven.
Return to this prayer when relationships feel difficult.
