Lenten Examination

Third Week of Lent

This Lent, we invite you to join us in prayerful reflection. Each week, we will share emails filled with thoughtful intentions and guided prayers to help us prepare our hearts for Easter.

Core Principle: Body

Our bodies carry us through each day—through joys, challenges, and everything in between. Yet, in the busyness of life, especially if we’re nursing aches and pains, we often forget that God is our true source of strength.

Lent reminds us that we are not meant to rely on our own power. Whether we feel strong or weak, God sustains us. He meets us in our exhaustion, our struggles, and our efforts, offering us the strength we need.

If you feel weary today, take heart. God sees you. He upholds you. He gives power to the faint and abundant strength to those who have none. Rest in His presence, knowing that His grace is sufficient for every moment. If you find yourself despairing of physical struggles, even as you ask Him for healing and relief, ask to find purpose in the pain.

Reflect & Reset:

  • Where do you need God’s strength today?
  • What praise can you offer Him as you recall His care?

Scriptural Reflection

He gives power to the faint, abundant strength to the weak.

Isaiah 40:29

Breath Prayer

As you inhale, pray:

Lord, You are my strength.

As you exhale, pray:

Restore and sustain me.

Let this prayer steady you when you feel weak.
