Lenten Examination
Second Week of Lent
—
This Lent, we invite you to join us in prayerful reflection. Each week, we will share emails filled with thoughtful intentions and guided prayers to help us prepare our hearts for Easter.
Core Principle: Mind
—
What are the three things you can hear right now. Chances are, even if you’re in a quiet spot, you can still hear something – if only in your head or heart. The world is loud, filled with distractions, worries, and endless demands. It’s easy to get caught up in the noise. But Lent invites us to renew our minds—to step away from the chaos and focus on what is eternal.
Jesus offers us transformation, not through striving, but through surrender. When we fix our thoughts on Him, He brings clarity, wisdom, and peace. This season, let’s be intentional about what we allow to fill our minds. Let’s dwell in His truth, allowing Him to reshape our hearts and perspectives.
Reflect & Reset:
- What thoughts have shaped your day?
- Have they drawn you closer to God or away?
- Ask Him to renew your mind.
Scriptural Reflection
—
Do not conform yourselves to this age but be transformed by the renewal of your mind …
Romans 12:2
Breath Prayer
—
As you inhale, pray:
Jesus, renew my thoughts.
As you exhale, pray:
Let me dwell in Your truth.
Repeat this prayer throughout the day to return to the mind of Christ.
