Weekly Opportunities
Care Package Delivery
Deliver boxes of food and other basic need items from our downtown office to client homes through no-contact drop-offs.
St. Joseph House of Hospitality
Spend time with St. Joseph House of Hospitality residents over a meal and fellowship or offer to lead a bible study with a small group of residents.
Meal Programs
Gather friends and give back to the community by supporting St. Joseph House of Hospitality through one of our meal programs.

The Catholic Charities Free Health Care Center is seeking volunteer nurses to assist our medical staff in serving the uninsured, underinsured, and underserved.

Office Assistant
The Roselia Pregnancy and Parenting Support Services of Catholic Charities is seeking a telephone operator to ensure helpful and compassionate communications to clients.

Holiday Volunteer Opportunities Spotlight
Thanksgiving Meal Delivery
We are looking for 50 volunteers to help deliver Thanksgiving meals to families in Allegheny County on Saturday, November 23 starting at 10am. Volunteers must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to 1-3 households through Allegheny County.
We are also asking for donations of our most needed meal items. You can find that list here.
We are currently full for Thanksgiving meal deliveries. However, we are still seeking volunteers for our Christmas Gift Delivery Day on December 14. See below for details.
Christmas Gift Delivery
We are looking for 50 volunteers to serve as elves this Christmas and help deliver Christmas gifts to families in Allegheny County. Pick up of Christmas gifts will begin at 10am Saturday, December 14 at 111 Blvd of the Allies, Pittsburgh PA 15222. Volunteers must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel to 1-3 households.

Christmas Gift Sorting
We are looking for volunteers to help organize donated Christmas Gifts between December 1 and December 14 to help bring a little bit of Christmas joy to needy families throughout our region. Please contact Bethany Young at byoung@ccpgh.org if you interested in volunteering.
One-Time/Special Events
Disaster Relief Task Force
Join our volunteer team that assists families who have been affected by disasters. The task force will be asked to help move families into new apartments, create care packages for disaster victims, and assist at emergency food distributions.

Counseling
For masters level students, semester or year-long internships focused in psychoeducation and supportive counseling contexts are available.
Social Service
Semester or year-long internships are available for students to gain experience in direct service through assistance with programs such as: pregnancy and parenting, housing, basic needs, and case management.
