Jessie Games Volunteering

Thank you for your interest in volunteering at the 11th Annual Jessie Games. Below you will find additional information. If you would like to sign up as a volunteer please email volunteer@ccpgh.org with your name, email, phone number and desired shift and a Catholic Charities staff member will reach out to you.

The Jessie Games is a great family volunteer opportunity but does require clearances for anybody age 18 or older. If you have an active clearance you can also email them to the address listed above, otherwise clearances must be obtained prior to August 10, 2024. Anybody under the age of 14 must be accompanied by an adult. Anybody between ages 14 and 17 years of age must have a signed parental consent in order to volunteer.

Volunteer Shift Schedule

This year we have three volunteer shifts available:

  • Shift 1: Set Up: 10am- 12pm
  • Shift 2: Event Activates: 1:00-4:00pm (Please arrive by 12:00pm for volunteer orientation)
  • Shift 3: Tear Down: 4:00-5:00pm

Clearance Information

The following clearances are required for any volunteer 18 years of age or older. Clearances requirements are depended upon current state residency. Please see below. Only active clearance will be accepted. An active clearance is one that was obtain no earlier August 10, 2019. There is no cost involved for those who are obtaining clearances to volunteer.

  • PA Resident – continuous resident of Pennsylvania for the past 10 years
  • PA Resident –resident of Pennsylvania for less than 10 years
  • Non PA Resident
    • Out of State Provision Clearance Requirement for Volunteers
      • Individuals who reside in another state or country may serve as a volunteer for no more than 30 days in a calendar year, as long as they provide clearances from their state or country of residents. If the individual will be volunteering for more than 30 days in a calendar year, they must obtain clearance as outlined above.
