Homeless Assistance Program
The Butler County Homeless Assistance Program provides emergency shelter, case management and coordinates a pantry for homeless Butler County residents in need of assistance.
Temporary Shelter:
We can provide temporary shelter for homeless individuals for a limited number of days in a local motel or in one of five apartments located adjacent to our offices. Apartment residents participate in a program where they will learn to become self-sufficient through case management and supportive services. Participants will also have the opportunity to work in a "hands-on" life skills training center that is equipped with computers to help prepare them for employment, and a kitchen and a washer and dryer to help them learn how to manage a household.
Case Management:
We provide case management to help solve homeless situations and offer assistance in locating housing.
Pantry:
The pantry that gives homeless individuals access to tangible items, such as free clothing and toiletries.
